General price for set of fuchs please

I typically just resell when parting cars but have a decent set (no scratches or rash anymore) that my son spent time on. It was a lesson on learning and we both learned a lot. They were blasted and then powder coated. The black line isn't great and there is still some pitting. Any thoughts on the $$ range. I understand that they aren't perfect so no need for bashing please but if anyone has great constructive criticism on how to improve his quality of work, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for you time. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1562872626.JPG

Thoughts or helpful feedback please and thank you

The polishing process needs to be done all over again until all the pits are gone. Hopefully they are all no more than 1mm depth. Any more and the wheel integrity begins to be affected. Of course, cooking them at 400 degrees isn't ideal for their integrity either.

i'd say $1200 ask, but that's just a guess.

I would not buy powder coated wheels as this can hide existing or emerging cracks - paint only - my personal preference obv.

In my opinion, it's not cost-effective to refinish a set of Fuchs. It takes a ton of materials and even more time to do it right, and it's a skill that takes trial and error to perfect. Grueling work. I gladly pay Peter (Autoclub911 here on the forum) to do it right. Comes in around $1200/set (plus shipping, if you're not local)

Third $1200. Not a bad effort. Feedback same as techweenie regarding pitting needs to be sanded out. Centers should be satin black paint (iColor hot rod black with extra flattening agent is my jam). Lug holes should have been masked, but can be sanded out. Can't tell if wheels were anodized before powder, but they should be "hard anodized" - anything else yellows or fades, chips, cracks. Bare petals and RSR-finish wheels are even more difficult!

Thx guys!!

The polish job looks incomplete. You should be able to get through the grits of sandpaper pretty easily though its a decent amount of work. The end result will be much nicer.

I bought these wheels and they had been poorly polished. I was able to fix it and get them looking pretty nice. Though I did not have to deal with any powder coating. The full set of 16x7 and 16x8 was $1600 in 2016.
