Just completed our first BAT auction...

Overall it went well and we enjoyed the process. It was a ton of work but we learned a lot putting the listing together. The whole thing was quite a roller coaster.

If you have any feedback, its certainly welcome if inclined to pass it along.

It was a very nice 89 911.........well run auction.

I feel Cabs are under valued for the most part but this was a respectable result.

Congratulations.

Thank you, appreciate it. I agree on the Cab values. It will be interesting to see over time if they increase in value like other collector Cabriolets have as they age and possibly become more interesting to serious collectors.

Agree.... I am surprised more of the Varsity did not weigh in on this.....

Great picts. Yeah, it's a full time job and fighting off the trolls for sure. Would you do it again?

Ive sold plenty of cars on BAT. I thought you did a very nice job and I thought the result was excellent, price wise.

Thanks, the positive comments are appreciated.

I was helping a good friend sell his car and we were not anticipating the work involved in developing a quality listing with all the photographs, videos... We re-shot the videos due to shake or sound quality multiple times.

I ended up investing in a GoPro Hero 7 Black and a separate gimbal just to get quality video. The combo of both the Hero Blacks video stabilization and the gimbal made a huge difference for the walk around videos. We could only use the in car videos that were hand held using only the Hero 7's stabilization. When using the gimbal, things went haywire as the corning g's although light, made the gimbal do some weird stuff.

We were thankful the discussion stayed mostly on track. Interesting how it went slightly off the rails after the final bid regarding the discussion of coupe vs cab values.

So far the after sale transaction has gone well and the buyer seems like a great guy.

Appreciate the information on what it is like to sell. A local dealer sells on BAT and has a professional photographer/videographer to prepare their cars. (Silver Arrow). It seems that it is money well spent to pay a pro. Presentation is huge for building immediate confidence for a high dollar long distance purchase.

Then there is time in responding to comments carefully while keeping emotion at bay.

You should be lucky, you did fine.

It’s low miles is great and great color, but hard to sell a Cab today..

All the nice cabs have very strong asks. Still below similar condition and equipped Coupes but gaining.

Apologies for the delay, out of the country with limited time and internet access.

This is the unit I purchased: Feiyu G6 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DFYW2K8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

This coupled with the GoPro Hero 7 Black with its digital stabilization makes for pretty smooth video, even when walking.
