Slantnose / Carbonfiber parts / HELP :)
Slantnose / Carbonfiber parts. Hello everyone. I have a 1987 Slanntose and want to find some slantnose owners that want carbon fiber parts for the headlight mechanism covers. I took off all my parts and found a place in Ft. Lauderdale Fl that will make molds from my parts, then create new carbon fiber pieces. Im not trying to make money. Just trying to get some guys together and help out with costs. Its aprox $1000 for the molds and was told up to $300 for each piece in carbon fiber. Seems reasonable, but it would be be nice to gather up 5-10 slantnose lovers to lower pricing across the board. PM me. Complete transparency... No nonsesne from my end and again not trying to make money or get mine for free. Just want to lower price and everyone pay equal share.

how about the fender liners?

Factory slant nose cars had an inner liner in the front part of the fender week to keep rain and mud out of the back of the lights

I'd be happy with a stock plastic set. They are not available anyplace that I could find

I asked the company making the carbon fiber set they could make the factory fiberglass set and he said no. It so poorly done he would know how to make it. LOL! Told me to a go to a boat hull repair place and other suggestions similar. However I have perfect carbon sets coming. Only making a few sets, so let me know...
