69 911 T 2.0 Value
 

I have an opportunity to purchase a 69 911 T 2.0 from a friend.

Car has around 100k on it but the engine was completely rebuilt for $20k 3 years ago. Have receipts. Also with that $20k some other items were taken care of. What exactly I do not know.

Car is near perfect and stock. Gauges restored. Radio refurbished. New Dash. Carpet is excellent. Color is green.

I do not have pictures yet. No Rust. No damage.

I know this is still vague. Will update when I have more information.

Would like to know what the car is worth?

I have a '69 911T I bought from one owner. Sadly, it was updated to a 2.2 engine. Just finishing 2 years in the shop for sheet metal and paint.

I'd think the one you describe could go for north of 60K. Just and educated guess..........

My thought was around $65k up or down.

Providing some more information....

Car has been sitting but not sure how long. No more than 2.5 years and no less than 1 year.

I do not know if it was properly put up for those years.

So if I acquire I will need to go through it. I have the ability and interest to perform myself. I would anticipate very little effort to get it up and running/tuned up. My background is in vintage euro motorcycles.

What is a proper discount for non-running? Sure, startup could produce major issues but I am not anticipating it. Friend took very good care of the car when he could.
