YSL "mon Paris" Commercial on TV Today

Sitting down after doing some car stuff in the fading afternoon light. Flip on the TV and up comes a holiday season perfume commercial (when else do you see these ads?) during a football game. And what do I see prominently featured among the lip biting, grasping, back-arching and hair-flipping of two 20-something models? Why it is a Metallic Blue 911 longhood coupe, careening through the streets of Paris!

The car looks great and IMHO outshines the two sparkling models.

This commercial is aimed squarely at the 20 to 30 somethings. And THAT simple fact is a big part of why I don't worry too much about the financial aspects of owning a few aircooled 911's. These cars are ICONIC and will still be in demand after many of us are long gone.
