Living under the boot of The Empire

I think I could get behind this, do we all get new Porsches?

Just the 1% get free Porsches, the rest of us get the pleasure of paying for them... Same as it ever was/is, lol.

That's kind of how it feels these days... the evil Empire forcing electric vehicles onto the innocent masses.

Let's hope not, since there is no forcing going on - more and more people are warming up to e-powered cars and buying them by choice (for whatever reasons; they like the haul ass aspect, enjoy the quiet motoring experience, think that somehow they are a greener alternative, get tax breaks, etc.). Vehicle manufacturers would not be making e-cars if people weren't buying them.

I would love an RS3 avant- hybrid for a daily. I also plan to be off grid someday. Yes, I’m a green, but there’s a certain prepper self sufficiency angle to it for me too.

SHTF preppers usually drive diesels. And usually old Ford 7.3L's, but on this board probably better to get an old MB.

Yeah, that’s not me. I’m talking about the off the grid part of it. If SHTF, I’m not going to be driving to town for a groceries or a chiropractic adjustment. The car would be extraneous in that situation, and all that would really matter is equipment.

No. I own water rights. I get 2-3 million gallons a year.
