Very nice. If its 3X, then its worth some money ($100) to me. Any smaller, then its not really worth much. keep it on the wall.

I've seen similar suits sell for $500-750. I don't think anyone buys them to actually use them but rather as a collector item. I guess if you have the Miller Porsche 962, this is a perfect addition next to your car.

I think its a neat piece of Porsche history. The D Bell Lowenbrau suit was on the market some years ago and IIRC the asking was somewhere around $2k. I think that would have more desirability than this suit. There are F1 driver's suits on the market now for anywhere from $2k up into the high 4-figures, depending on team and driver. (Lewis Hamilton race-worn suits are top-o-the-food-chain.) You can find NASCAR team suits all the time for $3-500, driver's suits for $2k and up, again depending on driver and team.

I think this suit probably fits closer to the D Bell suit than the NASCAR or F1 driver suits, so I would call it a B+ desirability for a Porsche collector IF you can tie it to a particular driver (I don't see something like John Andretti's name sewn into the suit somewhere, and driver provenance will be important). If it is a team suit, value would probably be lower and much closer to a NASCAR team suit. At the end of the day, it is unlikely to be a suit someone would actually wear as a race or DE day driver's suit, if only because of its age. Collectable, yes. Utilitarian, probably no.

So, short story, I might price it a little higher than Manny would but less than the D Bell suit. If you find the right buyer, I'm sure they'd treasure it as a rare, authentic and unique Porsche collectable.
