1975 911s coupe: fair market price anyone?

Hi all! What's a fair market price for a 1975 911s coupe? it has matching numbers and have been stored for 15+ years. it's located in Montreal, Qc, Canada.

It was covered and stored in an unheated garage - interior is nice but a few dings and rust spots on the body

Silver Anniversary model; does it have the numbered plate on the dash/glove compartment somewhere?

I love that kooky interior. As you are aware, the known and unknown rust is where you’ll take the hit.

yeah, it's a 'tweed' interior. i also love it

it doesn't have the plaque. I researched alot and i heard that the plaques were shipped to the dealer afterwards and the dealer didn't always glued them on. I also read that sometimes the name of the owner was engraved so it got removed at some point.

I have a good feeling that it is a 25th anniversary

here's another one for sale but it's in a better shape: https://www.beverlyhillscarclub.com/1975-porsche-911s-silver-anniversary-c-10639.htm

Sure looks like an Anniversary. And yes, often the plaques weren’t applied. I’ve seen them sold separately in the classified section more than once.

Is it running?

it's not a start & drive type of car. it ran when parked 15 years ago (or so...). Owner Changed the fluids, oil, battery etc, and started it 3 years ago. I didn't and will not attenpt to start it cold - engine turns tho.

I think 1/3 of the price that BHCC car would be about right, maybe less.

It's the unknown rust that scares me; but its an interesting car.

$12-13k fast sale...

$15-16k if you can wait til spring and doll it up a bit.

BTW, great job posting lots of pics and staying engaged. Not the typical "I have a 19XX 911, whats it worth?"......

There have been two here in the last year. One in the mid 20s sat forever.
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-cars-sale/1031904-1975-911s-silver-anniversary-403-500-barn-find.html

Roller for $10,500. Also sat for months at 11,500.

I think $16-17,500 for your car. $12-15k will sell quicker. Though the usual disclaimer of people in the States being afraid of importing a car ALL THE WAY from another country. It’s mental. If you get it across the border it will sell much easier.

I agree with most folks here that it’s a $15k +/- car. This will be a nice project for someone. Everything is there and the car is in well-used, but not abused condition.

It’s also about $40k away from greatness. But that’s the next guy’s problem!

Interesting how it looks like someone wailed out the right rear quarter on purpose, maybe with a pry bar or a 2X4 - perhaps an enraged spouse?!?!

Very cool! Thanks for sharing the sale price. Too often, the final sale price is either not shared and the asking price is edited out of the ‘for sale’ ad. Makes it difficult to follow sales trends and then it’s a matter of following auction results only.
