What do you notice ?

WPOZZZ 02-20-2020 08:10 PM

A car that needs a full resto.

We call theses field finds. Look at the sun fade on the tach red zone. Car looks hashed from the limited pictures.

Where's that damn 'like' button?

sugarwood 02-21-2020 04:33 AM

What do you make of the black primer sugar scoops ?

How common is it for the driver's side door trim paint to fade like that?

The A/C vent and passenger window switch are dislodged. That seems strange.

Engine bay photo:
What is the name of that CDI ignition upgrade? (red box)
Rear impact on the cracked rear reflector
Look at the rust water marks on the sunroof drain holes

Look at the crud on top of the fuse box cover. How can that happen??

Just ignore the trolls and do not reply to them.
The continued harassment reflects volumes.
Lack of character ? Mentally ill ? No social life or friends outside of this forum? Sad
Just stick to discussing the car for sale

I see another car from a flipper in Memphis that has nothing but junk.

Glad someone else noticed the other auctions.

The guy has 40 cars for sale.

Some of the Mustangs were also clearly "field finds" that were recently dragged out.
He seems to get field finds running and stopping.

Almost all his ads state: Engine and transmission have been rebuilt with documentation. The brakes and suspension have all been replaced. The cooling system comes with a new radiator and hoses.

Check out that yellow 912 for sale.
Another interesting set of pics.

But.........how much soul do these cars have?

Unobtanium-inc 02-21-2020 08:46 AM

This seller rarely meets reserve on his cars, but sometimes they do "sell" and get re-listed the next day. Not sure what his strategy is, because he doesn't seem to sell many cars. That's a lot of money tied up. Maybe he pays too much.
I've corrected him on some of his 356 descriptions.

I suspect he doesn't need the money and can hold out for a high price. I bet he gets them sorry cheap. Pure profit but is he storing 40 cars in that storage facility.

I tried to explain to him that the 356A he had listed was a 356B, he would not
listen, said he knew for sure that it was an '59 "A". Sure looked like a "B" body,
but what do I know ???

zedsn 02-22-2020 10:08 AM

Looks like a 356A to me.
