Standard equipment. I prefer to hear both ends of the wide range but the car is as I described. 8/10 paint, no rust. Minimal scratches. Very well kept interior. Standard equipment for a 71. Standard fuchs. Seller working on sending me some pics.

$40-80k.

Thank you

The air cooled market seems to be an oddity in the past few weeks, and by that I mean cars seem to still be trading around where they were pre-crisis (at least true for Carreras and SC’s). I haven’t seen any real longhood trades, so will assume the same holds true. As a seller that’s temporarily good news, as a buyer I think you need to be realistic about what could/will likely happen to buyer liquidity over the next two months and how that will impact pricing.

That said, since market says pricing is stable I’ll give you what I believe to be the stable answer: very low $50’s if not numbers matching (dropping into the $40’s if the car has needs) or low to mid $60’s if numbers matching in good nick.

The color is a plus if original or good respray
You said “No COA”, but didn’t expand on what that meant
Any rust or drivetrain issues will have a profound impact on pricing.
Miles are generally irrelevant based on the description
Carbs or original MFI?

Matt Monson 04-15-2020 05:25 PM

Mehoff, a 70T has Zeniths

Prices are going UP.
I know someone who just sold a car and motorcycle at full asking price.

People are bored at home and want to spend money.
BAT prices should be hitting new highs with a massive influx of quarantined used car demand now concentrating online.

Thanks gentlemen. Zenith carbs recently tuned. Drivetrain no issues, recently serviced. Owner doesn’t have original certificate of sale but engine is appropriate to model year with high suspicion it is original engine.

It honestly sounds like a $50-60k car but without pictures we are just shooting from the hip.
