This sold for $35k!

I would have figured $50k for a real Carrera even us spec.....
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1974-porsche-carrera-10/?utm_source=transactionalemail&utm_medium=email&ut m_campaign=bat_watched_listing_ended

I'm loosing touch on values. Am I alone in my thought that this car sold real low?

Not much market for a 'casual event' car these days. Big desire for original paint + low miles.

Nevertheless, I was surprised at the bids stopping below $40K.

Possible accident in the past probably kept the bids away. Still a steal at $35k plus fees. And people say you can't get good deals on BAT...

If you look at the listing it mentions a replaced front fender and a repaint. But I wouldn’t care about that.

wrong interior, fake ducktail = $10k right there plus correcting floor punch and fender hood issue may very well be well over another $5000

So according to my math, that's still more than $100K off the other 74 carrera.

spend $80k easy on paint, suspension, brakes, steering, trans, engine plus what value do you put on the mileage and color difference between GR and GPW?

Cannot weigh every '74 carrera against this Dixon anomaly, that would be silly

The US 74-75 Carrera is a marketing joke, really. $168K for one is silly money.

I'm saying from the perspective that its a very low almost all original car. That is hard to ever compare with a restored, high or higher mileage car
