No, we don't. We're just an entire forum dedicated to one marque that doesn't have any "really good" cars. Promise.

none of us can afford the prancing horse so we've mostly settled for porsches.... but we value California cars, being "nice" to one another, sheepers & if there is beef we take it to PM.
no forum baiting, name calling or being mean to pmax. you've already broken 1 of 3 by-laws here. we are unmoderated in this forum so we self police. you got a beef? you want some? don't make me call rahwknees.

You’ve got to be careful with Californias many have been wrecked or rolled back mileage. Some of them are also reps that started life as a coupe.

To the OP which 911 are you comparing to the California. The California (like all modern Ferrari's) comes in a paddle shift. The newer 911's can be had with a PDK which many seem to praise it but by these parts we seem to be a community that worships our manuals.
Ferrari's can be great cars but they need to be driven, which many are not. They can come with the specialized "Ferrari Tax" that seems to be worse than the "Porsche Tax". Unfortunately Ferrari is not a brand that is looked upon as a brand of many enthusiast but a brand that is a status symbol first...which I find disheartening when you look at Ferrari's racing history. So if you are looking as an enthusiast the 911 might be the ticket but if you're looking for pretty, then the California might be the ticket. Though I would add the looks are subjective. Both should be good performers.....but test drive both.

We have had a 2010 California for a few months here. I have put a few hundred miles on it. Its a 2010 with about 10k miles on it.
My 11 year old thinks its really cool, as do the other kids in the neighborhood. I don't live in a neighborhood where you see Ferrari's much. I took the car for the weekend and when I was in the student pick up line at Sunday School all the kids stopped and stared, so did some of the mom's. I have a bunch of air cooled 911's and some other vintage cars, none of which are Ferrari's or exotics. I also get to drive modern Porsche's daily. I assume you're comparing the California to a modern Porsche. If that's the case, my opinion is they're not even close. The Ferrari feels cheap compared to the 911. The materials feel cheap, the chassis has more flex, it just doesn't feel as well made. The Nav system is the same one you'll find in a Chrysler 300 of the same year. The Ferrari sounds great, the motor just screams, its not nearly as understated sounding as the Porsche, around town. For 100k plus a 991 Carrera S is hard to beat. It does everything so well. On the other hand you wont stand out in a crowd like a Ferrari.

I’d agree with trader. Put them side by side and the Furry looks like the panels were painted at different times. Lots of orange peel. Sorta clunky driving. Of course they say it’s a bespoke car and the deviations are part of its character. I’m not buying it.
One interesting thing about Ferrari of Denver. If you buy a car from them and move to say Maine and it comes time for service they have a guy who’ll come get it in a trailer and haul it back to Denver, service it, then haul it back to Maine for free. Er, it’s all wrapped up in the price I mean.
