@ Pelican FS 1977 3.0 Carrera

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-cars-sale/1062274-1977-porsche-911-carrera-3-0-coupe.html

Thoughts? Seems like a good price for an interesting car.

Says 19000 original miles. Not likely given speedo swap at some point in its life.
I have a 930/02 engine... it's really cool mix of old and new... wouldn't mind having the car.

What makes you say speedo swap? All C3s were Euro.

I didn't know that Euro models came with five-blade fans; I thought that was US only, in an attempt to raise cylinder head temps in order to help achieve emissions standards (to the determent of the cylinders, heads, and case).

77 3.0

It may be the original color but I doubt it has original paint.Front fenders have been changed as there are no side reflectors on the rear of the fenders. Also the front valence is from a 3.2 with the fogs recessed.I like the seats. All rubber rear tail is correct for a dealer add on from that vintage.Need to measure the thickness of the front rotors to help determine mileage. These cars are like leggos where it is easy to interchange a variety of parts. There is a blue 77 3.0 Targa on Pcarmarket that has not received any bids yet yesterday claiming original mileage but has a 300 kph speedo instead of the correct 250 kph for 77 only.Fred

Side markers on the fenders didn’t arrive until ‘81 I thought?

Much more than an SC unless you mean an 81/82 SC when they finally got a big hp boost?

Yeah the 5 blade is original but most have been swapped out.
