Comfort and performance
Hi Ken,
Generally, “sportier” means firmer, which is not as comfortable. I went with HDs all around for a mostly high performance street application Relatively recently, “Digressive” Valving has become popular, yielding a more comfortable ride and good control. I have heard from very knowledgeable guys like the good Dr. Verberg, that this is the way to go. For prices and reliable advice, I’d suggest you call Chuck at Elephant Racing. HTH, chris |

If money isn’t a issue, then Ohlins single or double adjustables. Wevo use to sell their Wevo/Ohlins single adjustable rears (they may still be available). I’ve been running those on my 930 and turbo bus for the past 10+ years. Also ran them on our ‘75 IROC look race car.
Ohlins makes a single/double adjustable front insert to replace the Bilstiens.
