1953 356 Value?
Jon from EBS Racing here. We have a customer wanting to sell his 1953 356. Looking for help in trying to establish a fair value. The car has original engine, trans. Color change repaint from black to forest green. No visable damage or severe rust issues. Spent most its time in Montana and Nevada. Needs complete restoration but appears to be a good platform. This owner purchased the car in 1969 for $300 :) Any feedback appreciated.
Thanks Jon |
I think you may be better off hitting up Unobtanium for approx. market value, the price of these pre-a cars seem to fluctuate heavily.... at least from the auctions I've attended/ seen online.
I would love to see some pictures though!! |
Thanks for your feedback. I'll post some pics here shortly.

I emailed Jon earlier today, happy to help. I've sold several 53 projects over the last few years so have some good comps.

That car is just cool....love to own it. I'd drive it as is.

How many Naugas died to make those seats?!

Get it running and put it on BAT. They'll go crazy for it.

Speaking of BAT, there’s a 53 on there now. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1953-porsche-356/

I'm going to stick my neck out there and say there is somebody somewhere that would pay 100 grand for that car.
