I want to buy myself a porsche targa and I hesitate between targa 4gts 2016 2dr with 8300 km or porsche targa 4s 2017 32,000km. The 2016 is $ 8,000 more expensive. What would you do in my place

I'd buy the one in the color I want, with the features I want, assuming they both pass a PPI. If the $8K difference is a deal breaker, then you know which one to buy. Given the included features of the GTS, it may be the more desirable version to own.

2016 is the last year for the non-turbo engine and demand a premium. If the purpose of the car is mostly touring, I’d go for the later car. More available, modern options. If you’re looking for a more visceral experience, the big NA 6 is a joy to drive. I’ve been looking for the right Targa for over a year. Not interested in the new 992 version but hard to find a 2016 with manual, not black, heated and ventilated seats and Burmester sound system. I know... picky
Good luck with your decision.
