went for a lil 100 miler today on a nicely paved forestry road that starts a few miles from my house. as you can see there was a fire that moved through the area 4-5 years ago and devastated what used to be a sweet, wooded forest.. a huge group of friends & i used to drive through the area prior to the blaze going to cherry lake just north of Yosemite back in the day. the forest there used to be full of sweet timber.

Interesting look with the RS rear bumper but bellows up front. Call me crazy but I was considering backdating my rear bumpers and leaving from stock except for a skid plate.

wow, that SC is stunning! must be a very early one with the bright trim? my red 78 had the bright trim with a vin ending in 00049, and an engine number ending in 85 indicating it was the 49th SC imported and the 85th 3.oL motor. it was the oldest one registered on that euro guy simon's SC registry page for a long time but was supplanted a few years back.

went out wheeling today at a very popular trail today way up the mountain from mi casa and unfortunately my 10 year old go-pro battery only lasted like 10 minutes in video mode. first hang with my pops since January cause of covid and rest assured we had a dusty good time today in the YJ. the locker was required a number of times..
headed home!
