How much to offer for an 88 parts car?
Over the weekend I went to check out a vintage Mustang for my wife and the owner had an 88' 3.2 coupe sitting in his barn. It's been sitting since 01 when he parked it "because the transmission started ticking". The interior is mostly trash, the battery tray is rusted through and the front fenders are really beat up. I was thinking about picking it up to swap the dash and a few other parts into my 87 coupe.

That's pretty cheap and I suspect you could get your money back fairly quickly. After all the desirable stuff is gone you're stuck with the harder to sell stuff and the carcass.

I find it hard to believe this car was parked due to some ticking in the transmission. Interior is gutted, no dash, door panels, carpet. And look how the engine got that dirty. Rear speakers have rust. Dash gauges have rust. Door pockets are filled with silt Frunk carpet is removed Frunk is filthy Looks like a flood car to me.

Bought a Carrera 86’ “semi roller” for parts, included engine no gearbox, bough it from insurance Co., for $10k, I think it is a good deal, Mario.
