Value of Leather knee guards

Hi all, I recently pulled these Leather knee guards out of my stash and would like to sell them but have no idea of there value. I have searched hi and low but can't find any for sale or any past sales for comparison. I did find a set on fleabay advertised as leather for $500.00 but they are not leather, I would think possibly the seller just does not know the difference.

The set i have are in very good condition, no tears, rips, holes, puncture's or open scrapes/scratches and studs are good. The cruise sticker is in very good condition and they most likely came from a later SC as none of the 930's came with cruise control.

They do have quite a few character marks typical of leather that has actually been used. If any one has real knowledge of there value please chime in.

Thanks in advance

Richard

LOL I was having that same thought Tobe's that anything i posted with the words
Knee's, Guard's, Protection or pads would invoke the Rawman

Actually if you want to get technical the correct description is Knee Protection Strip.
If anyone was confused by the title i am sure it was clear what i was asking about when they saw the pic's.

Wrong Forum ?

I am sorry i thought i posted in the Porsche Market Place discussion forum which is described under its heading as "A forum where the latest pricing and valuation trends in the Porsche market can be discussed and debated". Are Porsche parts not part of the market ? I must have missed the fine print that said only Porsche vehicle values can be discussed.

I did however see the fine print that you must post a price in the parts for sale forum (Which some seem to ignore) and given that i don't know the value of them, i do not know what to ask for them, and would not be able to post a price, I came to the "Market Place" asking for help in valuation of Porsche part's.

It is probably a toss up but i would not have been surprised if i had asked this question on the 911 used parts for sale forum and someone had replied, "This is not Ebay or an auction you must post a price.

And Thank you to Fred for an honest opinion, They are in better than average condition but i think your valuation is accurate.

I bought a single NOS one for $450. That was ten years ago. No idea how much more today.

We have a member named rawknees. Knee pad jokes aren’t unusual. What Mac meant by that comment is that you just became the straight man in the joke.

The cruise instructions could also be from an early 3.2 Carrera.

Leather knee pads are more boss if they are adorned with silver spikes - would command a price premium, too!!!
