Value of 911 parts

Hi, hoping members could help with value on parts as I had some questions on parting out, what I would sell:

- set of 4 930 brakes with rotors good condition
- set of widened fuchs rsr finish 9/11x15"
- 3.2 trans with oil cooler
- vintage recaro seats
- engine: 3.2 short stroke mfi engine newly build from the ground up, with genuine alu RS019 mfi pump, forged rockers, gt2 oil pump, Dougherty cams, light flywheel, amber shroud. Fully balanced and blueprinted. Engine was based on a 1981 3.0

Best, Nico

Tough question, lots of details missing....are you trying to sell these quickly or make the most money possible? Are the parts perfect, or presentable, usable as is, or in need of work?

The brakes could be worth $5000, they’d probably sell quickly for $3000.

The seats could be worth almost $10k, what material are they? Are sliders and brackets included, what model are they....again, they are probably $3000 if you want a relatively quick sale, depending on year, model and condition.

Pics will help us give you accurate numbers

Hi Blucille,

thanks for info.
Brakes are used but very good (on the car right now) - wheels are just finished, seats are very very nice, but I don't know the model.
Biggest question is the engine, I am in with a lot of money.

Cheers,

Nico

Pretty close estimates on everything, except the Euro trans I think is $3500 even as a core. (if proven rebuild 5k)

The engine is truly a beauty. I think you could get mid 30's for it.

IMHO, the seats are not worth $5K; you will be lucky to get $1K for them. They look to be non-original BMW seats and are not Porsche sports seats.

The engine and wheels look amazing though!

Looks like a sweet car. You will need to sell the car complete on BAT to get top dollar.
You will have a hard time getting the $35k you need out of that engine sale.

they look like LS-C's...fairly desirable, but not at the same value as the buckets, like the 1300 and 1328's that were used in RSR's and others.

The fabric on your LS-C's looks pretty good, $2000-3000, maybe.

Not arguing that they aren’t LS-Cs however looking at the side adjuster portion they look 5 or so years later than the early(73) rsr buckets no?

Agreed...I’m thinking late 70’s, there should be a date code on them, but maybe not.

My feeling is they are valuable, they will look great in a long hood or impact bumper car, but they would be out of place in an RSR....maybe not terribly so.

They should have been fitted around '75 - I will look if I find a date stamp. Cool thing is Paul Sr and Jr have been in them, must ad some value

Wow.... love the motor..... Do you have detailed notes on it.... if it is well built it will bring a strong number..... $35,000 +/-. Builder notoriety would also helps value.

Brakes: Easily $5,000 (search pair that sold in similar condition on Pelican within last three months). They sold quickly.....

Fuchs: Again I would search Parts section. Though I can not remember seeing a pair of widen RSR wheels. I think they would also sell w/ a strong value. If you had to build them they would be close to $7,000.

Seats..... not my thing.... Lew (Blu) has a better feel.....

Those seats look older than LSes, though they have the same shape as a later LS-B. They look late 70s to me; may be a KR but I don't recall when the KR/KRS/KRX names were used.
