Gambling on 911 parts

10 days left before America votes. I got a 930 turbo inner fender stock oil cooler that I can't use, will never use. Shipping included internationally, I'm betting that Trump will be reelected. Stupid of me, but if you take the bet, you gotta have something similar in value shipped in exchange that I might want. Shipped internationally.

This is only for fun so no personal left or right bullsh-t passion in any regard need be vested or is acceptable. If your not interested in this part, bet on Biden with your own part against some other fool. If you need pics of the oil cooler I can post. Small issue withe the sealing area X 1, but repairable I believe. Otherwise it looks great!

Got back from the mountains today and snapped some of the oil cooler in question. I'll be using a Ruf valence cooler which I've had for just over 20 years and original to my car.

I've had the 930 cooler for about 15 years. Bought from a dear friend in Fountain Valley CA then for a hundred bucks. If any of you bought parts on ebay from 911Ltd. over the years, that was Chuck. He passed away from lung disease just a few years ago. I miss him, a great friend of mine he was.

I don't know how the ding happened. That is how I got it and just stored all these years. If someone were interested in the cooler, place your wager by Halloween night midnight CA time. You win, it's free shipped to your address. You lose, you have to ship me a part that may be of similar value, something you have to make clear when placing your bet. First come, first served. I can't do a Sponge Bob on this wager.

Finally, I'm not bettin on Trump, nor will I vote for him. I'm betting against the mainstream media which has such a disgust for Trump they blindside themselves on their polls and their reporting. They did it in 2016. I'm wondering if history will repeat, just for fun...

Most won't be interested in this part. If you still want to play, post your own part and place your bet. Be sure not to sponge anyone around like Sponge Bob did just recently.

photo that didn't attach

This photo was left out, so here it is. It shows the mounts.

Just a reminder, if you're attending any Halloween parties this year, don't forget to wear a mask!

No takers, no gamblers here obviously. I withdraw my bet earlier than I said. Count the thread as dead. I'm out and fuggedaboudit. I'd have more luck in Vegas, but I can't get there in time. Tired of bumping, so I'm out! It would have been fun I thought though.

It's not that I wouldn't take your bet, it's that I have no need for your part. Biden is going to absolutely destroy Trump. He might even take Florida and Texas.

I may even agree with you, and that's cool with me. You can still put your money where your mouth is and let me know how many of those slag green early gauges you have you would take in trade (at a loss). If you come out on top you have nothing to lose and you can always sell the cooler domestically or store it for a better day. Just a bet still on the table for the taking..

Damn! Unless PA goes on to incur some vote counting fraud, Trump is a goner! I doubt it will come to that, but one never knows in this political climate. I'm glad no one had the balls to place a bet now! I can keep my oil cooler now and sell it domestically.

Turning it into a value thread now, is the ding easily repairable? As is, does anyone have a clue what it might be worth? Thanks for any opinions...

It’s ok Bernie. You weren’t the only one who was wrong.

Ha! That's fair, I suppose. I would be posting the same thing.

If only someone had told me that we had to run against not only Biden, but the mainstream media, Hollywood, Big Tech, and the fraudsters at the AZ/MI/WI/PA election departments.

The good news is we have the Senate and the Supreme court so we're still in control and Sleepy Joe and Cranky Kamala can sit around and get nothing done until we win in 2024. Not to mention the Dem's terrible performance at the State level which puts the Republicans in the driver's seat for redistricting and will lead to, as Politico puts it, "a decade of power".

https://www.politico.com/news/2020/11/04/statehouse-elections-2020-434108

Hope you enjoy it, Little Matty.

I wouldn't say I was wrong, or you were right. The media polled and predicted some Senate races like Graham or McConnell etc. would lose and they were off by anywhere from 8 to 15 percent and those guys all won.

Didn't you say Biden would absolutely destroy Trump? Then, the guy who told me to stay in Japan agreed with you that Biden would win by a landslide. Not sure of the definition of a landslide, but I think it was a hairy close one in those battleground States. Again, the media was wrong and that was who I was betting against. So I was kind of right wasn't I? I'm not going to say you were kind of wrong weren't you?

Anyway, I didn't lose a thing since no one took my bet. So what do you think? Is that oil cooler worth $300 or more in present condition? I'm gonna put it up for sale over here one day soon...

I was just having a little fun. I’m not a political person and have never belonged to either party. The only we I belong to is the 75 million who voted to get El Cheeto out of the people’s house. I like to say I belong to the Bazinga party, the party of science and reason. As I said several times in the middie covid thread one my biggest beefs with Trump was politicizing things that shouldn’t be political, like public health.

I’m optimistic for the next 4 years, especially if the GA runoffs can even up the Senate. I found it reassuring that Dan Crenshaw spoke up and told that wackadoo Greene to cut the shyte. I really hope the GOP takes their party back and people like Greene and Colorado’s Boebert are treated like the fringe lunatics that they are. I kind of feel the same about AOC. I’m hoping minus the disrupter in Chief they can get down to the business of getting the economy and the nation pointed forward again and we can all eventually get back to living life.

I'm sort of an indifferent person, lived most of my life abroad. I will say, a US President usually looks presidential. That is generally why they get elected. People, the American people know and see that for starters.

Biden doesn't have that Presidential look at all. Why Obama ever picked him as a running mate was pure strategy, yet it had no meaning for him to hold this office going forward, nor does he have the stamina. That is why I said -- be careful what you wish for, something the Chinese say. The Chinese have had a pleasant day as well, something they severely wanted and needed they got!

I heard on news radio some poll counted 50% of Biden voters were just voting against Trump.

And MIB is spot on. House and Senate are at a deadlock now.
4 years of nothing. Perfect!

And I don’t care who nominated Amy Coney Barrett. For the first time ever I watched some of the hearings.
She’s brilliant IMO.

As a business owner, I'm not looking forward to the feeler and kneeler, and the $6 a gallon gas prices that will come. Yes, putting America 1st, record LOW unemployment, making and keeping more money , and low gas prices were such a bad thing.

$6 has? That’s funny. The Saudis are why our gas is so cheap, not any policy Trump has anything to do with. They actually put a lot of Americans out of work in our oil fields because fracking and LNG are more expensive to extract. If you want American made gas, it’s gonna be expensive.

That's wildly simplified and sounds like a statement from someone who starts every day with a fresh copy of USA Today.

Of course the Saudis have an influence on our gas prices. But to say that Trump doesn't deserve at least partial credit for lower gas prices due to our recent status as a net oil products exporter is just silly and flies in the face of your apolitical claims.
