6500 mile 89 911 Made for BaT

This car would break records on Bat.... 6500 miles and unusual color......

https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/1989-porsche-911-carrera-1/

pcarmarket seems like a poor choice?

Oh man that is nice.
I agree. But I think BAT may not have accepted the owners desired reserve.
PCAR probably agreed to a reserve that the car will never get to.

Very valid points...curious to see how the market (collector vs. driver) evolves over the next 5-10 years for these models.

Perhaps the seller didn't specify "G50" enough times in their BAT submission? Anyway least they could have done is close the frunk properly for $120,000 plus...very nice car by all appearances, wonder where it's been hiding.

I like that one better. It’s partly because linen doesn’t do it for me and it’s partly that I wouldn’t hesitate to drive it 2-3k mi a year. The linen car would be a show car, and I don’t show.

What kind of person orders a beige car with beige interior?
It's so boring they couldn't even bring themselves to drive it.

Not for nothing, but I sent you a PM like 3 weeks ago.

Very high correlation. Spending $300 on a camera guy is a proxy for the kind of owner you want to buy from. Flippers excluded. Cheap miser don't spend on photos or maintenance. Common sense.

I love the color Linen on this 1989 Carrera. I saw a linen 964 years ago for 17 k. Years later the same car sold for over 60 k in minutes.

I can only guess the seller and BAT could not agree on a reserve. The next best place would be PCA?
