De-ja vu $$$ for 930 @ Mecum Kissimmee
@BeachBoy18 – There were four 930’s here. All of them met reserve and sold. Here’s a breakdown:
1) $203,500 – 1983 Blk/Blk coupe – 13k miles. Very nice. car. Condition 1 2) $129,250 – 1986 Blk/BLk coupe – 43k miles. Aftermarket exhaust and radio. Condition 2 3) $110,000 – 1986 Red/Blk coupe – 57k miles. Modified. I spotted exhaust, intercooler, turbo (maybe), and radio. Replica Fuchs. Condition 2 4) $102,300 – 1982 Blu/Blk coupe – 43k miles. Poor repaint in non-original color (car was originally white). Aftermarket exhaust and radio. Condition 3

Low mile examples of 930 cars at a auction house who get primo from uneducated buyers who do not care.
I was going to the big muscle car show Mecum is doing in Punta Gorda, FL, but 10% buyer fee $200 to even get in...screw that... I had 930 cars kinda grew out of them... |

I was there Sunday to check out the inventory. I had high hopes reading all the buzz, but it was a letdown. Mostly driver quality cars and none that I would consider bidding on. So you're not missing anything. |

According to Hagerty, condition 2 930's should be going for $150k-ish. Is Hagerty smoking something? What's happened to the 930 market? Last I checked a couple years ago average ones were approaching 200k.

Seemed like a very nice 20K mile 89 cab SN selling on BAT for $130K. Huh, OK, I always hear BAT gets top dollar VS Mecum gives Porsche away. And it wasn't red.

Tony, that BaT ‘89 turbo cab has all sorts of CARFAX issues that can never be corrected, thus the lower price. It would’ve done much better had it not been for that major issue.
