Unfair Automotive Laws

How many collector car enthusiast are aware of the SEMA Action Network? I believe this organization is great asset to the collector car hobby. When I read a post from a guy from CA. trying to get his early 911 to pass state emissions I wonder why his 40+ year auto is not exempt. Why some states allow the sale of non ethanol gas and others don't. There are many laws, rules and regulations that vary from state to state and I feel that SAN. is on the right path to correct these issues.

The SEMA Action Network (SAN) was formed in 1997 to unite vehicle clubs, enthusiasts and members of the specialty auto parts industry as a political voice for the hobby. SAN efforts have resulted in positive outcomes on a wide range of issues, from vehicle scrappage laws to equipment standards, registration classifications, emissions-test exemptions and hobbyist rights.
