911 turbo motor

I have a complete 3.3 911 turbo motor that’s been sitting for 15 years. It would need a rebuild. I’m curious what something like that is worth.

Tbd with lack of details sans 15 yrs

Mileage
Condition
How was it put away
What is included

I’d estimate 10k as it will need a rebuilt and that’s a solid 15-25k

There were a few 930 rollers sold in the past. Those folks would likely pay a premium.

It has 84k miles on it was sitting in a car that was in a small garage in New England. It’s super complete top to bottom.

~15-20k. Some have sat in the FS section for months in the high teens-20s. Really depends how long you want to list it for.

That’s what I was thinking. I’d like to get $15k for it

Reason for rebuild will change the value a lot.
  1. You assume because it's old.
  2. It's just worn, but why at 84K? I have 90k on mine and it runs perfect.
  3. A piston or rod broke
  4. Spun bearing
Each will determine value. $10k or less if it's broke or spun a bearing

If it really is complete, intake to exhaust, your price shouldn’t be a reach. I recently sold a similar condition SC engine in 15 minutes at $9000.

Somebody with an M491 might want it, in case they ever need to get up a steep hill.
