Value on 1978 930 calipers help

Hey guys I’ve got a nice set of brake calipers I pulled off a 1978 930 and am curious what the value is on them? They “worked great when parked” but could possibly use a rebuild as they’ve been sitting for about ten years. Any help would be awesome. Thanks pelican!

Curious because they don’t make them as of right now and they’re pre 78 it looks like

I personally wouldn’t advertise them as “nice” if I was selling them. Those are what I call rebuildable cores.

I believe $2,500 to $3,000 given today's market.

To Matt's point, they are $8,000 fully installed after rebuild using a quality shop. You can get a new set installed for $10,000 at same shop.

Having a partial set of 3 of these early "big fin" calipers, these are extra hard to find. I would value them more, though they do need a rebuild.

1000 each min. as a set 5k. I've been searching for a single front for over a year. The later small fin style are much easier to find as they made many more of them.

I would have answered the question if I knew the answer. I know what nice ones are worth, but that doesn't help you one bit. lol

Brakes

ERP is making a really nice caliper and probably is going to be a much better and cheaper way to go rather than paying alot for old calipers and the cost to rebuild .

The guy I sold this set to is putting them on a period correct race car that has to run 15” wheels. I believe they’re the biggest brake you can fit under a 15” wheel.
