great metaphor.

to stay on topic and not be the clown judge i found that grundy is a way better value than hagerty. my pops keyed me into it after switching his 67 chevelle over and like him i found it to be 1/2 the cost for the same declared policy value. restrictions were the same and after researching grundy here on pelican those with claims had high marks.

try buying fire insurance in a tinderbox....

Not quoted premiums.... just market averages...... P Car gossip...

What is your deductible?
What is your annual mileage?
What are the policy limits?
Where is the car garaged?
Are you the only driver?
Are you a PCA member?
etc.......

Enough criteria for rate differential to keep it confusing....

But yes it sounds like you are overpaying in comparison to other Companies.

Mine is finding anyone who wants to insure a business involved in Motorsports. I’ve been dropped without notice 3 times the last dozen years. Never had a claim. But they send me a non-renewal notice every 3-4 years.

Looks like the PPMPF boyz are back to their old incorrigible ways ! Thought the likes of that has been stomped out forever.

Recent quote from American Collectors Ins. of $450./year for $70K agreed value.

I am a long term customer, so quotes may vary depending on your auto insurance history.
