Portland/Seattle classic car wedding rental

Hey Guys,

My buddy is getting married in the beginning of May and asked me if I knew anyone with an older 911 or similar classic car.

They would be using it for wedding type stuff/photo shoot.

**** Does not have to be showroom quality car, can be any OK condition 911/912 or similar classic car, just no race cars or mis-matched panel cars ****

If you or anyone you know wants to make a nice chunk of change for renting the car out please let me know and I'll forward it to my buddy.

YOU CAN CHOOSE how you rent it to him and if you want to stay with the car the whole day he can include a spot in the wedding for you etc however you wanna do it. He probably would be cool with YOU driving the car to X location for the shoot if you are worried about it being driven incorrectly or damaged.

Let me know, would only be needed for about a day or so.

Cash in hand. Like I said if you have a driver quality classic and want to make a nice amount of cash for a small gig post a pic and we can go from there.

OR if you know any places local to Seattle/Portland that offer this service, feel free to leave contact below.

Thanks

Looks like a couple potenitals but still searching.

He is offering $600+ per day for rental.

Mind that the car will probably be only used for several hours.

Sounds like a very lucrative business idea. You could put your fix and flips into rental service while waiting for them to appreciate.

Hmm not bad but I feel like insurance involved would make the idea kind of difficult to make profit. Renting air cooled cars might be worth it since you can ask $600-$1000 per day for a car compared to $150-$200 for a R35 GT-R.

We were thinking about setting up a motorcycle rental place but that's a whole notha ball game..

When exactly in May?

Mine is probably too 'outlaw' for a wedding but there's a bunch of stockers around.

Bob, I have to say, right on. And then I noticed your 19 motorcycles. Again, right on. Any of those Italian?

You have to admit the guys on this board really get it done.

Hi, there. I’m in the process of launching Classic Auto Rentals based out of Seattle. Starting fleet is:

1952 MG TD with Honda S2000 drivetrain
1964 Shelby Cobra (ERA 289 FIA rep)
1974 911 widebody hot rod
1992 BMW e30 cab with M3 drivetrain, suspension, and brakes
1996 993 C2

And if primarily for photo shoot only, then maybe my ‘69 911 ST or ‘81 911 2.7RS look.

Dude! Very cool and I think this will be his choice since my old black wide body 912 looked very similar to the black coupe you have posted above!

I saw the BMW and 96 Porsche while searching. The rental idea is smart definitely a market for it.

I appreciate all the pics and will send them all his way!!

Bringing this back from the dead. My buddy is proposing mid August and was wondering if someone in the New Jersey area can stage an aircooled for him. Let me know if you or someone you know might have a lead. Will be compensated whatever agreed number is.

Thanks
