mag fans/housings
Hi, going to be selling these soon. Just trying to put a fair value on them. 2 mag fans complete with motorola alternators . Both spin nicely. No sign of damage or cracks. One has a small chip on the end of one blade.
They just came out of storage and have not been cleaned at all. Thanks, JD ![]() ![]() |

might bring more money if you were to get them cleaned up. media blasting with a very light substance cleans them up nicely.

The fans and housings range from $400 to $1,000 depending on condition. You need to disassemble and show the back of the housing when it's hidden by the alternator if you want top dollar. Mine looked good from the outside, but the back side was eroded and cracked everywhere. If both are good. The chipped one will be $400/500. The other probably $800.00
The alternator may add $50.00 unless you can have it tested and prove it works. Then $100.00 or $150.00. I'd sell the fans and alternators separate. It will be easier IMO.

Thanks for the detailed info. Much appreciated. Confirms some of my own estimates.
