Take all that junk off it and show the condition of the fins, on both sides.

That looks like a stock intercooler to me, an image of its front will confirm it.

That’s interesting. Looks like a mini 964T innercooler.

It’s hard to confirm what it is without seeing the front of it, but it is definitely not the same intercooler as in the first 2 posts. This one is way cleaner and there appears to be no damage, it looks brand new. The other one is clearly used with a lot of damage to the fins.

The slightly larger intercooler was produced/used on the SC330 optioned 930s. Those were Euro based engines that pumped the output from 300bhp to 330bhp. They aren't talked about much but I've seen a few of them.

I think I have the Special Wishes Euro intercooler on my 84 930...I've always suspected it and it was confirmed by an educated owner of another 84 at Werks a few weeks ago.

Is it an original WLS? Or just the larger intercooler added to a stock motor at a later date?

If I remember well this is the same IC than the Ruf one minus the ribs on the front.
Porsche option M148 that goes with a pressure damper between the fuel distributor and the WUR.
