Help with Values Please...1972 2.4L Engine Parts
 

Thanks for any help provided. I am looking for general values (wholesale or discounted retail).

1972 2.4L

I have a complete disassembled long block. Two rods and the #5 crank journal are discolored on the crank end, but there is no gauging or grooves in the crank or rods. Everything else looks to be in good condition. All parts have been stored for years in AZ. (Planned for a off-road car back in the day)

I believe all internal parts are there, including the timing chain housings, timing chains, rockers, cams, valves, etc. I also have (6) intake tubes, distributor, regulator and computer module of some sort.

where did you get the motor? any history?

I don't have any history at all. It was acquired for an off-road platform back in the day when it was cool to put a Porsche 6 cyl in a off-road car.

A friend just picked up a 2.4 MFI complete but locked up for 1500.

That's what the pump is worth.

Anyone have any help with this? How do these prices look...High, low, just right?

There is other misc items including a regulator and computer of some sort. $2500 to $3000 for everything seem reasonable?

I'm not sure why you would think that, but I can assure you that is not the case. I have some parts that I would like to get rid of so I reached out to the community. I have face timed with a couple members to show them what I have.
