Parts and tool kits-values please
 

Stuck at home once again I rummaged through the garage and found some stuff I should sell. If any of you have input as to value I would appreciate it.

1968 912 Engine Assembly Book. Came with my first Porsche in 1971. Sentimental.
1968 912 Tool Kit. Think it's complete but no pouch.
1972 911 Tool Kit. Missing screwdriver but nice pouch, Should I put the 912 screwdriver with this?
Headlight rings-Painted black-used to be red I think. Came off my 72.
Deck Grill-only number I could find on it is '79". Definitely OEM though.

I'll jump in and take some wild guesses, but may inspire others to join in.

The manual - These are great, usually around $250 for the 911 versions or more, I've never seen a 912 manual, so maybe at least $150, maybe up to $400?

The loose 912 kit, I'd source the pouch. They are out there and would make the overall value much much more. You might have luck selling individual tools or bulk but would be a fraction of what it's worth with a roll ($400-$800?)

The 72 kit, I sold a nicer 73.5 kit for $750 I think. So i'd say $350-$500?

The 72 headlight covers $100

The SC plastic grille - $50-100

I don’t know the value of most of these things, but that screwdriver is worth more than the rest of the tools combined.

Soak the tools in evaporust and they will look amazing.

The box-end 19/22 wrench is worth around $225. There are modern versions that cost less than $100, but they don't look the same.

ive got a tool kit around here somewhere i need to dig up and see about it's condition. it was from the SC that I went racing in and it did not go with the car when it sold.

The box end wrench ALONE is worth $225? Wow.
The screwdriver is worth more than everything? I thought the YELLOW screwdriver was the big money, not the RED one!
I still have to nail down a solid price for that manual. It's got the original owners name in it too!
I'll try to source a 912 tool pouch. Definitely worth looking.
I'd sell that 72 kit for $400 I think.
I'd sell those headlight rings TOMORROW for $100. Maybe 50.
The grill is only $50-100? surprising! Someone else told me $200.

The big money screwdriver is the 73-only red handled one with the two-sided blade/phillips insert. The 69-72 kits have separate phillips and blade screwdrivers with red handles, like the one you have. I don't think it's accurate to say it's worth more than the rest of the tools put together.

I had to do a bunch of research when I had my '73, as I bought the car without a toolkit and I wanted to assemble one as best I could. A complete 73.5 toolkit in good shape is $1500+.

I thought this was a reversible one. I’ve been corrected.
