There is rarely a deal to be had. If something seems too good to be true there 99% of the time it is. Probably better off private party

They get some decent cars, but rarely a screaming deal to be had. Go in person and look at them.

BHCC is not a dead end just know that you aren’t likely to get a deal and you won’t likely get the whole story behind the car and paperwork etc. Are you local to them? Fun field trip for sure

Absolutely agree - in person is a must. Cars are just cleaned and shined so they show well in pictures. Most were unloved and it shows.

Mandatory in person purchase. Bring someone who knows these cars inside and out with you if possible.

How does Engident back up the claim?

I agree its staged, the inside of that shipping container looks far too clean and tidy to allow the car to fall into that condition. Moss doesn’t grow in the dark, there’s no doubt that car sat outside likely under a tree somewhere.

I don’t know the point of staging such a thing, what exactly does it gain considering ow awful the car looks?

People send me to BHCC a couple times a month. There are always surprises. On average, I discourage 2/3 of prospective purchases.
Plenty of decent options among the 90+ 911s they have at any time.
But forget thinking about them as a typical dealership. They are an automotive fishing trawler with a big drag net. They haul in everything. The good cars do tend to sell immediately, so what you generally see on the site is the picked-over cars

I have personal experience purchasing from them. I echo everyone who says buy in person. My transaction was from a distance. I had no problem how the car was represented but they changed the rules in process after all the cards were in their hands. Jacked me around as well as the transport truck company.

Happy with the vehicle but would not deal with them again or recommend anyone else does. They might have special cars but in the end they are used car dealers and certainly perpetuate the stereotype.

Among other things, bring a paint meter and check for rust. Body/metal work is expensive and always the x-factor for pre-75 cars. I do not have personal experience with BHCC but the cars I’ve seen listed seem to have varying degrees of rust. Best of luck.

Bring a paint meter to BHCC? That’s funny.

I’m bringing my portable pressure washer. Their drive thru car wash treatment only gets the surface stuff.
