Targa’s definitely making a move up the ladder: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1990-porsche-911-carrera-4-targa/

Couldn't agree more Nick - but it only leaks if you drive it in the rain.
Cool color, and overall decent shape. My 88 Targa (after I complete a same color respray) is very similar, although considerably more mechanically refreshed and with records since purchase. I am encouraged to see this price point. Before buying my current Targa I had an 87 Coupe, 72S Targa, and 70E no sunroof. After a 14 year hiatus, I hunted for a Targa since that is what I had enjoyed the most. I will not argue the siren song of the no sunroof pre-impact bumper cars...they hold a special place in my heart, but for cruising, not tracking, the late 80s 3.2 with the G50 transmission checks a lot of boxes. At least for me. If I want a quiet car, with kick ass AC and all kinds of electronics I wouldn't drive an old 911. The great "hope" for me in this sale is that I can show this to the bride and justify a continued refresh of the 34 year old paint on a rust free solid car, a new clutch and eventually a top end and there is still hope to not be in a deep dark hole. But in all honesty, not sure it would matter to me, I will still do the updates just because I want to and it gives me joy.

Meh. Neither a top of the market car nor price. I would say the color explains it being a bit high for the kind of car.

I knew it was a good idea to grab this one last year, it's in the barn now.

Adam,
You are ahead of the curve. Perhaps it is finally the year of the Targa... maybe, hopefully...
