value question 83 SC Cabriolet under 39K miles
I've been tasked to help value and try to find a buyer for a 1983 Red/Tan Cabriolet. The husband/owner passed away and the wife/estate is selling of a few things.
Car has less than 39K miles. It is said to be documented miles. It is a very clean car. It has minimal wear on the driver's seat from getting in and out (heavy set driver) That is the only defect I know about. Any suggestions on value? Thanks. JZ |
off season..... $50,000 +/- $2500....

A 79 SC Coupe with 41K miles just sold on Bat for $88K.
Some people love Cabs and this could be just the ticket. |
Being a first year 911 cab you would think people would be interested a lot more. They aren't. I never really understood it. In many ways it's a special car. The market - or people - have not caught up yet. No one seems to care. If you did get $50K I'd be surprised. People (or should I say 911 people) don't like cabs. I think a cab looks more bad a$$ with the top up. A 911 Speedster is altogether a different story. With that mileage it might be a different game. If I were to own a cab, a '83 would be it.
