Comments on PP classifieds ad not 100% truthful?
Is it proper to make somewhat disparaging comments about PP classifieds ads for vehicles when you have additional information that would VERY likely sway buyers away? In this case - it's not certain that the current "owner/seller" has this information, but it is available on the web if you know where to look.

Comments on cars for sale are locked. It’s not possible. Though if it’s really egregious and you want to say something, linking the ad to a thread in this forum would be the way to do it.

Yes - I know comments on the ads themselves aren't possible. Was curious about posting in this forum as an example. Currently a car being advertised is not fully disclosed with the damage - although I'm uncertain if the "flipper" knows (or cares) to disclose the damage.

Judgement call on your part. Maybe you approach the seller and he doesn’t know? Or maybe he knows and posting will protect potential buyers. I hesitate to give advice one way or the other, though if it’s on the internet it’s out there in the public domain already for any buyer to find.

can you link the add here?

First step is to tell the seller via PM. I was selling an M5 on here and did not know the accident history, a guy PMed me and I disclosed it on the ad, this is how PP and Rennlist should work. If he tells you to go pound sand.....then you have a choice.

I don't think there's a right answer here, but I agree that it is best to assume ignorance at first & contact the seller before posting anything
