6x15 flat Fuchs 3 prong versus full circle center caps
I have four wheels, two of each. One pair is 1971 pro dates and the other ‘74. Is there any difference in value one generation versus the other? They are just plain old 020.00 flat face Fuchs.

Generally speaking the 1971 wheels will be worth more because of their OEM application to a 1972 longhood. Typical values will range between 7-800 depending on condition. The 1974 wheels should be worth around 200 less given their application to a generally less expensive mid year.
I just put together a set of 1971 flat 6 Fuchs and this is typical of what I paid. Used center caps typically go for around $50 each. |
$7-800 for a single wheel? Dang, they’ve gone up. I was thinking of offering the pair for that.

I usually see them for more like $500-600 unless they are in great shape. But yes, early is always worth more.

People in Cali will pay a premium for the organically grown Fuchs.
