Toni Janell Selling Parts on Instagram

Does anyone know if this is a legit person selling parts as tonijanell1 on IG? There is a wide array of parts, some pretty rare. The page popped up Feb 2023 and there are frequent postings of new parts. I would assume the person had to be selling parts for a while and just took to social media if legit. There are some fairly well known followers but not many comments. I had a weird (pushy) interaction when I inquired about a part asking me to send my info. Also the backgrounds of the pictures are all over the place. Doesn't pass the smell test for me but interested if anyone has had experience.

Thanks
Rob

If it feels like a scam, it's a scam. You already nailed it, no one takes pictures of their parts in 20 locations.
DON'T SEND MONEY!!!!!!

Definitely a scammer. I just replied to one of their posts asking about a 67/68 window frame. They immediately DM'd me saying they had one, asking if I prefer FedEx or UPS.

Whoa, buddy slow down. How about some pics?

So he sends me a photo from an ebay listing of a seller in CA of a mid-year window frame.

Reported the account, and you should, too.

Thanks both for the replies. That is similar to what I experienced (also window frames actually). Immediately asked for my info and preferred shipper when I asked a question. I got a weird vibe so asked a bunch of follow ups to feel him out. I asked what year the bright frames were from. He said ‘83 (the year I said I had). I said they must have been refinished since they only came in black and he said yes they were. I asked if he had the rear quarter windows and he said he did but never followed with the picture I asked for.

Hopefully others find this thread

Some dude on IG reached out to to me this morning. Wired the guy $450.

It goes without saying, but never wire money to anyone on the internet, and never use PayPal F&F.
