One of my biggest regrets is not buying a 914-6 GT replica for $28K 7 or 8 years ago that was built by a very well known Porsche Specialist in his garage. Think he sold it for $60K.

i paid $31K for mine in 2016, mostly for the 3.6 in in (thanks to matt monson for the tip!). i always liked the GT's, never reckoned i'd own one. not kicking myself.
when i bought it:  a few dollars and some time, and viola.   mine is a converted 4, and certainly wouldn't bring that kind of money. these cars with proper power are a lot of fun...

I heard back from Brian yesterday, and that was his GT, not sure if it had anything to do with the price, but he is a former NFL Pro-Bowl player.
One of his current toys.
