How much for my 1974 911
Unfortunately divorce causes sale of my beloved 1974 911. I get the car, but it's probably not the best idea to keep it.
It a 1974 911, plain jane slick top model with vinyl interior and crank windows. Has dealer installed a/c that is not blowing cold. Silver with black interior. Bright trim, no pass mirror. Smaller euro rear bumperettes like a euro car that came on U.S. '74s. I am the second owner, bought from the original owner in 2016. Car has 186,000 miles, but looks, runs and drives like a well maintained car with 86,000 miles. I have most receipts since new, but no window sticker. Engine rebuilt in early 1990s with Carrera tensioners. Car painted in early 1990's as well, shows very good. Still has sugar scoop front lights, but with Euro spec Cibie lamps. I have a Magnus Walker Momo wheel in the car, but still have the original big ugly steering wheel. Car has a single din cd player, again have original radio in box. Still have original keys. Car came with Fuchs new. I put on vintage 185/15 style Michelins. XWX I think. original aluminum front calipers. coco mats. Car is in NW Washington state. Looking to see value please. Thanks! |

![]() If you’re trying to value it for the divorce settlement I would use the lowest number, and defend it based on the mileage. You can probably actually get $5-10k more than that. This is from the most recent Excellence market report. Sorry you’re going through this situation. Hang in there.

^^^ I think MM is spot on ^^^, before I read his post I was thinking in the 35 -38K range +/-
Sorry to hear of your divorce. stay strong... and kind. If kids' are involved, remember they are watching and listening. |

Thanks guys. It's all settled and the car is mine. However I can't afford to keep it, nor can I afford to not get as much as possible for as well. I can afford to keep it longer than I can let it go for less than it's potential. I was hoping for about $46,000. It is a nice clean car that literally needs nothing more than some miles (and maybe a Wevo shifter I always wanted to put in, the one that looks stock!).

Post some pictures.
The challenge I see with your goal number is the mileage and the fact that the rebuild is a quarter century ago.
