1971 911 Coupe vs 1971 911 Karmann Coupe
Which one will appraise higher, assuming they are in similar condition? Only 583 were built at the Porsche factory. Because fewer were built there are they more valuable?

You might get a better answer on the Porsche Marketplace Discussion forum so I'm going to move the conversation there

AFAIK all of the cars were finished at Porsche. Karmann as a coach builder was providing trimmed out bodies for Porsche because Porsche couldn’t provide the full capacity in house. Karmann was not producing complete cars so, rarity of a Karmann bodied model isn’t even a thing IMO.
