Do you know any hotrod or Harley guys? They'll know who the local pin-stripers are; that's where I'd start.

I also have a question about painting Porsche center caps.

I've painted aluminum Porsche center caps using Testors brand enamel model paints (in the tiny jars), with very small brushes...followed by a clear coat.

Works great...but the gold color of Testors is a bit too "neutral" (not bold/bright enough), and does not come close to matching the Porsche crest gold.

So I'd like to repaint these caps with a palette which is a better match to actual Porsche colors. Any info. regarding resources would be appreciated. Thanks!

It isn't hard to do. I started paint them back in the early 80's and tried marketing them but was told by Porsche to stop. Times have changed.

You can find gold paints that look proper at most hobby or arts and crafts stores even HD sells one that isn't bad.
