1969 2.0S mfi complete - value?
Whats the value of a complete engine sat for 20 years - 15k? 20k?
|
Add the engine number and pics.
|
Complete as in air filter housings to muffler? Flywheel and clutch? How it sat will be the difference. Properly stored in a climate controlled environment and you're probably in the right price range. Sitting in a barn and exposed to elements, rodents etc. probably not so much. To get top dollar you'll need to prove to the buyer that it doesn't need anything.

thanks for the feedback!
Ill have it rebuilt |
Axel, I bought one complete supposedly rebuilt not running last year for 10k but when it arrived was
locked up .. Rebuilt and with docs likely $20-$25 k there have been a few ‘67 S completely rebuilt engines in that ball park , with the fuel injection and higher comp ‘69 S can command as much easily or more . As most here know even more if you know where the original chassis is ..Bert |
I sold just the MFI parts as a package this last summer for $5000. It had been completely reconditioned by Mike Bruns and was ready to install. No pump, just all the other stuff from manifolds to plugs and hard lines, etc. etc. I've seen pumps for $2500-4000 that are redone and correct.
And then there's the value of your engine. |
