Hey all
Just curious if anyone has had good or bad experiences with these wheels. Looking to get some deep 6’s for our ‘66 912 but not wanting to pony up for the real deals. ![]() |

I have had them on my 914 since 2016 with no problems. They still look good, are round and balance well.

Well, with a set of real Fuchs, not only do you increase the value of your Porsche, but real Fuchs don’t go down in value as well.
The only problem with Deep Sixes is that tire machines gouge them up, one of the reasons Porsche changed to Flats, which also explains why so many have been polished. When I first started playing with Porsches, you could literally buy Fuchs cheap because everyone wanted BBS, Momo or Gotti wheels . If you don’t plan on ever selling your 912, invest in the Fuchs, but you might consider 5.5x14 Fuchs. One of the benefits is the lower gearing helps the four banger feel quicker (Porsche used the 14” Fuchs on the 912E in 1976) a trick Vintage 356 racers picked up using 14” VW bus wheels for the same reason.
