Seinfeld's 1971 911S

Thoughts.....

I can see this hitting $700,000 +.

I’m thinking $800-900k, though it’s not really an “S” anymore.

Interesting that they used 964 distributor, I would have thought they would have used a RSR style for the twin plug.

Just a really cool hot rod. I don't really care about the celebrity around it. In all honesty, I think that's a bit too much power for an early car intended for the street but that's a minor gripe.

Love the mods - bought wrecked 78SC back in the early 90s with just about the same RUF goodies as this car, minus the 6spd. My bud took the mechanical inj along with rest of the car, while I got the engine with the intent of installing in my 73. Its been in dry storage since, but the intent still exists!

That RuF center in Texas is definitely not RuF!

What's with the random capitalized letters--the listing keeps referring to "RUF." The family's name is Ruf.

And, to state the obvious, besides the wheels/brakes (and even there, why?) there's nothing of value added. Just a bunch of bling.

Back to the Seinfeld car: I like it a lot, but that price is bonkers.

Just messed up typing on my phone.

The RAC designs used to be how RUF distributed their parts in the States. Some of them held up the RUF standard of excellence better than others. Some of them did actual builds, with reworked engines brought in from Germany. Other ones just sold wheel packages and bolt ons.

Observed Seinfeld discussing Porsches during interviews. Seinfeld is selling the modified Porsches and continuing to collect highly original factory built Porsches and a preference for blue Porsches. Regarding modified Porsches Seinfeld states "who are these people" [modifying Porsches] - and that includes RuF!

🔥 Loving the mods! 😍 Got a wrecked '78SC back in the '90s with similar RUF swag 🚗 – minus the 6spd tho. My bud took the mech inj + rest of the car, I grabbed the engine for my '73 💡. Been in dry storage forever, but the plan's still alive 😎.

You're obviously a scammer/bot. From onboost's post earlier:
