Pondering FS: 1989 911 Cab w/125k miles
Hi:
I have a 1989 911 Cab, black/linen, 7" & 8"x16 fuchs, w/125k miles in good condition that I'm pondering about selling. Strong engine, upgraded suspension with f&r gun drilled torsion bars, bilstein sport shocks, new a/c (compressor, dryer, receivers), new leather driver's seat. Has small tear, 1.5" (but patched) on side of top (no leaks--this is the 2nd top) and the fuchs are chromed and pitted/peeling. These two faults are what would detract it from being VG as the paint and mechanical are in VG condition. I live in LA and just don't drive it much anymore b/c of the traffic. The problem is the pricing out there -- I've seen cars that are as good or better that aren't getting any bites at $20k so I'm thinking that if I really wanted to sell it, it would be more towards the $16k-$18k range. Also, we only have 1 garage space for 3 cars so it's hogging up the garage. I could redo the fuchs but for the $$ it's hard to justify it. Same goes for the top. Am I being realistic or just pessimistic? I would appreciate any and all comments. Thank you Roy Last edited by luigisdad; 06-06-2006 at 09:48 AM.. |
