help decoding VIN number VIN # WPOZZZ93ZCS000872
VIN # WPOZZZ93ZCS000872
I just bought a 930 Turbo, really fun, but am not sure about the model year. It is registered as an 82 but I think the VIN decodes to 81. Is it an 81 or 82 930? I'm confused. Any help appreciated.

zzz – ZZZ is Rest of World, AAO would be USA model. 93 – (First and second digit of Porsche type – 930) Z – (Test digit) C – (1982) <a "B" here = 1981, "C" = 1982, "D" = 1983 ect.> S – (manufacturing location/ Stuttgart) 0 – (Third digit of Porsche Type - 930) 0 – (Body type-930 turbo) This is an assumption I am making as I took this off of an SC vin decoding and the coupe version of an SC was a #2 here. 0872 – Sequential Number.
