Too good to be true....

Anyone noticing a lot more ebay listings being pulled off very shortly after being listed?

They are always the car listings that seem too good to be true, by the time you try to figure it out, the listing has been pulled.

Dont know if it has always been that way, but it seems to be happening a lot more often. Or maybe i'm just looking at the deals that seem way too good.

Getting a lot more scam 2nd chance offer emails on cars i've been on also. Anyone know how to keep that from happening? do i have to hide my email address somewhere?

Yes, I've noticed.

Twice in the past couple of weeks, I go to one to my "watch list", and they have already been pulled.

My brother listed a Renault R5 on Ebay recently, and included "not WRX, EVO" in the description. He simply wanted to get more views to his auction.

Ebay pulled his ad, saying it was "description spam" or something like that, and he had to relist it.

I kinda see their point, but the "NOT..." thing is awfully common on Ebay.

You can put a fake Carrera RS on Ebay, and they'll leave that alone...just make sure you don't use NOT in the description. :)
