Hello Lite75 my car is vin # 9305700233 what is your vin? nice to see someone actually has a 75 930 also what do you think of values on our car? My insurance company has been arguing that they are the value of the 76 cars.

hey you guys with the 75's (and the proto 74?) - there's a brand new invention called the CAMERA that is finally through the developmental stages and has virtually no remaining bugs to work out.
stop the tease and show the cars. or else Bill K

Vey nice...the camera comment!! I just took these while getting gas with my camera phone...to all the know it all porsche nerds yes I know my car was updated to dual flag mirrors for safety...however the original doors are sitting pretty in my garage with the single chrome mirror. I know the dual stainless b&b is wrong but it lets the non intercooled turbo breathe! and lastly the very wide epsilon wheels are on instead of my wimpy 7&8 15" fuchs because well look At them.

DrWeasley,
My serial is 9305700235, built in the same week as yours! As far as pics, I started with a highly modified car and went from there. Came with RSR wheels, plastic fuel tank and roll bar. Not sure when it was modified or by whom...

Where are the pictures? You 1975 930 owners are a bunch of selfish savages!
I would value an original 75 @ over 100k considering its uniqueness and rarity. We dont see the market here in the usa because we likely have less than a dozen over here. In the next 911 sales peak I would expect big recognition to this one of a kind car. Expect the value to rise as well. Compare its rarity and performance to the 73' R/S. Those were going for what? $200k last year? They made 4 times as many R/S cars.

A local shop here in Indy has recently acquired the first ever 930 imported into the US as a US spec car. I was just looking at it this past weekend. It is a '76, 15" Fuchs, driver's side mirror only, small rear bumperettes and fog lights. It also doesn't have center air vents. It has a beautiful (IMO) green plaid interior and dark metallic green exterior.
It is serial #14. After talking to the owner about it at great length, he explained to me that the first cars destined for the US were serial #'s 11, 12, 13 and 14. 11 through 13 were used for crash testing per us gov't, while 14 was used for EPA testing. #14 survived and ended up in the hands of a collector. It was recently purchased by the owners of the shop (Ooley-Blackburn). Apparently there will be an article about it in Excellence in the near future. When I inquired about it's value, the owner wouldn't give me a figure, but he did say he expected it was worth more than the '73 RS that he sold at Barret Jackson recently. I believe they sold that for over $200k, but not sure about that. Sorry I can't offer any more information, but I found this to be very interesting so I wanted to share what I found.

75 turbo.
The 75' turbo was used for homolagation of the 934.
-main major differences are as follows compared to later turbos -no 75' turbos came with AC.. -single , simple, early style drivers mirror as already mentioned and -early style dash board cover -tires were CN36 215/60 and 235/60x15" there are a few other very small minor details but the above covers the major ones. Naturally 75-77 tubos came with 911S alloy calipers,,, rims were 7-8X15 Fuchs.. the 76 turbos had two versions of rear wings,, small grill for no AC and larger grill with AC. Tires varied in 76' between CN36 and P7 low profile. I have been in the market for a 75' turbo with red plaid interior for years... have studied and viewed a number of them but never layed down the money.. Prices varied between 10k US to 30keuro.. There is no set price for anything,,, it all depends on demand. You cannot compare this car to an RS,, tip top touring M472's are now in the 400k plus range,, the RS will always be top dog in collecting circles but i still think a 75' turbo is very very cool. Best Regards, R. Groß
