NEED HELP! auction ending soon, is this my first porsche?

Hey guys,

I have been 2 steps too late for about 5 different cars now. Always take too much time deciding if this is right for me. Now i am ready and just wanted some experts oppinions. I have to oppertunity to buy the car outright for 12k. might be able to get him down a little more.

heads up!

I would be immediately be suspect why a car with 50K plus miles needed a rebuild.The drivers side seat back has a lot of wear also.If there are no records ,I would move on in a hurry.Be patient and always get a PPI as a requisite for purchase.ALWAYS!!!

It could have had the carrera valve guide issue which necessitated the rebuild. Still, I would guess that it has more like 150K miles on it. Ask for documentation and do a carfax if you are serious.

aparently,
"The owner had a modified/wrong dipstick and when it read alittle low it was really low,engine overheated and shut down, was towed to shop and top end from cylinders up was done"
